Solution: Cardiac catheterization neurovascular assessment: Monitor the peripheral pulses, color, and sensation of extremity distal to insertion site (every 15 minutes x 4, every 30 minutes x 4, and every 1 hour x 2). Monitor opposite extremity pulse to asses for presence of equal pulses, color and sensation bilaterally.
