Answer #1

Yes she can make complaints regarding their acts. As soon the client reached the unit the head nurse must assess the nurse to care for the client. After performing assessment he immediately give ID band to the client and make client information in the ward computer and add her to current day census. Then the nurse primary duty is to attend to client needs. She not even have checked whether the client have taken food or not. She not respond to the bell. These all the mistakes the nurse have done. Legally it comes under negligence. Hence Mary can proceed action on the nurse.

Also the physician not attended her for a period of a day so what is the need for patient to stay in hospital.

Then the diet comes late. It shows the organisation failure.

These are the problems she faced. The patient advocate can proceed legally. The advocate can address the issues and even can claim compensation from organisation. Because after getting admitted she not get her treatment. Thus she can make issues resolved.
