Molar mass of C2H2Cl4 is 167.8493 g/mol

moles in 75 g of C2H2Cl4 = 75 g / 167.8493 g/mol = 0.44682938802 mol

moles Cl2 required = 2 x 0.44682938802 = 0.89365877605 mol

mass of Cl2 required = moles Cl2 x molar mass of Cl2 = 0.89365877605 mol x 70.9060 g/mol = 63.3657691751 g ~ 63.4 g

Answer: grams of chlorine will be needed to make 75.0 grans of C2H2Cl4= 63.4 g
