1) 47 year-old female, in the Emergency Department for severe pain in back of neck, radiating down L arm and making fingers numb. RR 40, deep breaths, diaphoretic, and very anxious.

HR 140, complaining to nurse of feeling faint, never had this pain before, s/p weight lifting and sit-ups, usual exercise routine. After speaking with patient, suddenly patient passes out.
