There are various risks and benefits of this inclusion. They are as follow:
Risks:
1. The confidentiality of the patient's report will be in danger as all the reporting system today will be done into the system.
2. The information may be entered into the governmental systems, which can be persuaded by the law enforcement and federal government by forcing the health care providers.
3. Some health insurance companies may not cover the health policies if the genetic condition will be shown.
Benefits:
1. The patient's will have clear knowledge about their DNA profiling.
2. It will provide an information regarding the patient to the other physicians who will have an access to the patients information only through the documented reports.
3. The patient's genetic information will give a sense of idea to the physician about the possible diagnosis of the patient.
4. The physician will have an idea about the genetic changes that has occured in the patient.
5. The care provided will include the potentiality of the patient's entire situations.
