(1) Question 13 :-

Ans:- Federal system.

Explanation:- Federal system or federalism is a system of Government in which the power is divided between a central authority and various constituents units of the country.

(i) Usually federalism has two levels of government but India has a special type of federalism of three level or three tier government, centre,state and local governing body called as "Panchayats".

(ii) One is the government for their entire country called Central government that is usually responsible for a few subject of common interests like Defence or national security.

(iii) The other are government at the level of provinces or states that look after much of the day to day administering of their state like education , State tax ,etc.

(iv) Both there level of government enjoy their power independent of the other.

(2) Question 14 :-

Ans:- Supermacy clause.

Explanation:- The Article VI , clause (2) of the U.S constitution is called as Supermacy clause.

The Constitution shall be supreme law of the land : and the judges in every state shall be bound thereby, anything in the Constitution or laws of any state to the contrary not withstanding.

(i) Judicial review of the state laws is clearly outlined in the Supermacy clause.This clause makes sure that no State shall violates the U.S constitution and that all states courts must uphold the national law.This is done through the process of Judicial review by the states courts.

(ii) The state court through judicial review determine whether or not the state statutes or state executive acts are valid.They also decided the Constitutionality of state law under state constitution.

(3) Question 15 :-

Ans:- Civil right began to be enforced by the federal Government.

Explanation:- In 1960, civil rights began to be enforced by the government. President Lyndon Jhonson's government participated more in the interest of the society. Many health, education and other programs like The elementary and secondary education Act (1965) , The clean air Act (1965) , Highway safety Act (1966) ,etc are initiated to promote civil rights. Civil rights Act (1964) and Voting Right Act also promoted civil right equality in the country.
