' Hospital emergency department' is inpatient hospital and is consider an out patient facility, because Emergency department may provide emergency care for who will come to the hospital with the need of emergency care, and if they need to admit the hospital may admit the clients in to wards problems intensive care units.

If there is no other treatments the hospital may send patient to home, or if clients wants to go for others health care centers, the Hospital may refer clients to other health care centers.

So that the Emergency department may consider as inpatient and out patient department.

Acute care facilities : It is one of the branch of secondary health care here the clients receives short term health care and active care like any episodes of illness and when the clients are recovering from the surgery.

Examples of acute health care facilities :

Ambulatory service facilities,

Hospice care or end care,

Psychiatric rehabilitation hospitals,

End stage Renal dialysis centers. Ect.

Long term care facilities :

Long term care facilities are provide long term care to the clients or patients or residents through rehabilitative, restorative, and ongoing skilled nursing care and assist them to maintain daily living activities.

Examples for long term care facilities are

* medical management services

* assisting in daily living activities like grooming, dressing, bathing, eating etc.
