Article 1 what we're the results, are the results valid and reliable why and why not will these results improve patient care

This article “Anesthetic Management of Patients with Suspected or Confirmed 2019 Novel Coronavirus Infection during Emergency Procedures” was a retrospective multicenter clinical study conducted in 4 hospitals in china in the year 2020 after the COVID 19 outbreak. The research was conducted by Shuai Zhao, Ken Ling, Hong Yan, Liang Zhong, Xiaohong Peng, Shanglong Yao, Jiapeng Huang in China. The purpose of the study was to control cross infection during emergency interventions in the operating rooms for patients with suspected and confirmed case of COVID-19. The study was effective to effective to identify that implementing new measures and procedures such as negative pressure rooms, protective measures for the OR staffs, disinfection and sterilization of the operating rooms and self-sterilization of the OR staff showed substantial reduction of cross infection in the operating rooms (Zhao, S., et al, 2020).

The study is reliable as it is evident that promotion of these procedures and intervention was effective in reduction of cross infection in the operating rooms. One of the critiques concerning this article is that it is hard to consider the proposed problems encountered in the clinical settings. However, concerns regarding the best practices and promotion of health remain the same because of the global crisis. Whereas it is important to highlight the low infection rates in the four hospitals in the operating rooms due to the stringent infection control guidelines and policies. Apart from that, the authors believe that protective methodologies are effective among health care workers for reducing cross infection rates (Zhao, S., et al, 2020).

Article 2 what we're the results, are the results valid and reliable why and why not, will these results improve patient care develop PICOT from both articles

The study “Epidemiology, causes, clinical manifestation and diagnosis, prevention and control of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) during the early outbreak period: a scoping review” is a quantitative research study written by Sasmita Poudel Adhikari1, Sha Meng, Yu-Ju Wu, Yu-Ping Mao, Rui-Xue Ye, Qing-Zhi Wang, Chang Sun, Sean Sylvia, Scott Rozelle, Hein Raat and Huan Zhou to review COVID-19 during its early outbreak period. The research study concluded with the literature gaps and some evidence-based recommendations for the future researchers with regard to this pandemic global crisis in terms of COVID-19 (Adhikari, S. P et al, 2020).

One of the critical appraisals for this study is about the global comparison of the study during the outbreak. Researchers could consider the global situation and could come up with evidences related to the study. Researchers identify the gaps in the literature reviews and mentioned that most of the articles focused on the etiological factors initially. However over the time there were more articles which only focus on the prevention and control of the disease. It is important to say that analysis of the root cause is very important in this chaotic situation. Another thing that needs to be highlighted is the reported virus origin of COVID-19 is connected to the seafood market in Wuhan. Moreover research studies mention that prevention methods such as proper use of personal protective equipment’s like masks, hand hygiene practices, social distancing and self-isolation are the ways to reduce the transmission of the disease. However, there is not anti-viral treatment is identified for the disease, which makes the global population in a crisis (Adhikari, S. P et al, 2020.
