a. C10H8 -->ONLY OIL SOLUBLE ( because the compound or hydrocarbon is non-polar in nature)  

b. KOH --> ONLY WATER SOLUBLE ( it is a polar inorganic compound)

c. C12H26 ---> ONLY OIL SOLUBLE ( because the compound or hydrocarbon is non-polar in nature)

d. C2H5OH -->  PREDOMINANTLY SOLUBLE IN WATER BUT ALSO DISSOLVE PARTIALLY IN WATER / OIL MIXTURE ( because one portion of methanol is polar and another portion is non-polar hydrocarbon )
