Answer: Quality improvement and patient satisfaction is the major concern of the nursing profession as well as healthcare professionals. Nurse plays many major role to provide quality of care to the patient. To provide quality of care it is necessary to understand the need and the demand of the patients. Nurses use evidence based practice to increase the quality of the care as well as this also make them to take decision during critical situation. Many advanced technologies are being used to improve the patient quality of care such as use of EHR which reduces medical error and enhance patient satisfaction level.
Nursing leaders and manager act as a fuel in the quality of care provided to the patients by enacting the nursing theory, managing the time and work. Nursing leaders keep an eye on the improvement of the care given to the patient. Nurse leader encourage the team members to perform better with zeal and enthusiasm. Nurse leader and manager provides platform to the other healthcare professionals to improve their working skills by use of nursing theory, time management skills etc.
Leadership skills includes managing, analysing, evaluating as well as implementing the program which increase the outcome of patient satisfaction level.
