MELTING POINT is the tempreature at which solids get converted to liquid.

For this reason, greater the strength of Metal oxide higher will be heat required to break the bond and greater will be its melting point .

In this case , melting point is directly proportional to ionic character. (Ionic character is proportional to bond strength)

This can be qualitatively predicted by Fajan's rule.

It says that greater is the radius of cation , greater will be the  ionic character

From the above explanation the melting point order is:

MgO > CaO > SrO > BaO
