1. Meta analysis and systematic reviews are considered to provide the best evidence for all questions. Types as they are based on the findings of multiple studies that were identified in comprehensive, systematic literature searches. However the position of systematic reviews at the top of the evidence hierarchy is not an absolute.

2 . RCT have within themselves, by the nature of randomization, an ability to help control bias.

3. Cohort is a form of longitudinal study that samples a cohort group of people who share a defining characteristic, typically those who experienced a common event in a selected period such as birth or graduation.

4. Case study and case reports are a type of a descriptive study based on singular or grouped uncontrolled observations of patients particularly in epidemiology and medicine.
