Personal Knowing:

Personal knowing is getting of knowledge by ourselves through our personal experience. The knowledge is gained through observation and self-actualization. It helps to treat the patient as a whole with the utmost integrity. In this situation, the knowledge of risk factors of older adults helps to minimize the risk of fall. Personal knowing helps to maintain a therapeutic relationship with the patient and to perceive her feelings, pain of her situation. The nurse must realize the specific needs of older adults.

Empirical Knowing:

It helps to learn the nursing theories, literature, laws and to provide evidence-based practice for the best outcome of the patient. Empirical knowing helps to provide the best possible treatment for the patient according to her condition. It promotes to help the patient for the speedy recovery after a hip surgery.

Ethical Knowing:

Ethical knowing is the sense of knowing right or wrong things on patient care. It enhances the right of protecting individual life by following the code of ethics and professional behavior. In this situation, ethical knowing helps the nurse to do the best possible care for the patient by giving preferences to the patient's values, belief, and interest.

Aesthetic Knowing:
