Every professional has some enforced code of ethics which need to be followed to preserve the integrity of the profession One of fundamental principle of code of ethics is Objectivity Objectivity - A professional accountant should not allow bias, conflict of interest or undue influence of others to override professional judgments. In given case, Katrina Ng is a manager on the audit of a not for profit entity.She is also a member of the Board of Directors for the not for profit entity but the position is honorary and does not involve her acting in a management capacity for the not for profit firm So, it is concluded as Katrina Ng having conflict of interest as she is also board of director of non profit entity Here she is voilating code of ethics. Hence she cannot be appointed as manager on audit of this entity
