Answer #1

Ans.)

  • According to the given graph, the most resistance feature of bacteria is folate pathway and cell wall synthesis.
  • The antibiotic which kill bacterial cell do not kill the human cell because of difference in enzymatic activity. For example, some antibiotic will act on specific enzymes which are only present in bacteria not in humans. Hence, human cell is not killed by antibiotic.
  • The bacterial sample could be collected from different pathology to check the bacterial resistance towards various antibiotics.
  • From the given information, it can be inferred that 5 antibiotics, namely Minocyline, Linezolid, Ciproflaxin, Rifampicin and Vancomycin successfully killed 100% Gram –tive bacteria. In the same way, Tetracyline, Minocyline and Tigecyline are the 3 antibiotics which successfully killed 100% Gram +tive bacteria.
  • Yes, the result concluded from the given data provide and informative insight about the different antibiotics and their action againt Gram +tive and Gram –tive bacteria.
