Three factors in Anthony's personal or social history which contributed him in becoming overweight are:-

1) high calorie food habits

2) high alcohol intake

3) lack of exercise by

2. Four risk factors of heart disease:-

1) overweight

2) BP is high

3) heavy smoking

4) high glucose levels

5) lack of exercise

6) high LDL levels

3. NCEP handout referred and classification is as follows:-

1) glucose - diabetic

2) hbA1c - diabetic

The cholesterol, HDL and LDL tests have to be done for confirmation.

4. Four nutritional problems:-

1) vitamin A deficiency

2) high protein intake

3) high fat intake

4) high calorie intake

5) protein needs:-

6oz of lean turkey - 48gms of protein

8oz of medium fat pot roast - 568 gms of protein

2/3 cup cooked white rice - 3 gms of protein

1/2 cup cooked corn and peas - 5 gms of protein

Total protein intake per day - 624 gms per day

The normal value of protein needs for Antony is 120 gms as his weight is around 225 lbs.

1 medium sized tomato - 24 calories

16oz orange juice - 204 calories

1/2 cup of cooked corn and peas - 71 calories

6 tsp butter (twice daily) - 204*2= 408 calories

1 slice white bread - 32 calories

Total calorie intake - 2311 calories

Normal calorie intake for Antony should be under 2000 calories.
