I agree with Mark as he believes strongly in reducing overall calories by substituting low-fat products whenever possible, which in my opinion as it helps to maintain a healthy weight and cholesterol levels. Several studies have confirmed that the full-fat version is bad for health and overall calories should be reduced by adding more low-fat products. According to AHA the daily intake of saturated fat for those with heart disease should not be more than 5% to 6%. The recommended saturated fat intake for the general population is 7% to 10% to be disease free. This reaffirms the significance of taking low-fat products if one wants to be free of diseases caused due to saturated fats. Taking full-fat products in small amounts would only increase satiety, which would lead to eating more, resulting in obesity and other lifestyle diseases.
