Training and development prompts a change within an organization (Cigna Health Care). The goal of training is to identify areas for improvement and develop materials and opportunities to educate employees in order to support growth. For this assignment, you are required to develop a small training exercise.

Review your needs assessment and previous observations conducted on your work environment to help identify one area for improvement that would benefit a part of your organization which is the CLAIMS DEPARTMENT AND AUDITING DEPARTMENT.

This training exercise does not need to be implemented, but should include at least one deliverable that you could use during the training exercise. As you are reviewing your organization, consider employee engagement, systems, procedures, communication, and the culture within the organization. These are suggestions for possible areas that could benefit from a training exercise.

The training must include the following: What goal is the organization trying to accomplish? What processes or procedures will change after the training? Describe the strategies or actions involved in the training exercise to meet established goals.

What is the expected performance or applications after the training? How will the strategies drive successful business results and improve employee performance? How will the organization provide support to the employees receiving training? To new employees?

Training is one of the teaching method which is used to improve the the parameters which needs to be corrected and further modified for better outcome .

In this case we are providing training session to the Claims and Auditing department for having a better performance from their side and to work on their drawbacks

# The goal of the training session is to improve the working performance and to cut down the drawbacks of the claims and auditing department

#. During the training session modified version of working will be trained to the clients of the department and they have to utilise the new version thereafter which would be more computerized and less manuall work

#. The strategies or actions that would be included in the training session are :-

- Democratic leadership style will be used

- Description of the drawbacks , strengths and weakness

- Methods to solve the weaknesses will be explained and demonstrated

- Introduction and demonstration of the new computerized working method will be taught to them

- Will have a small objective session of what we taught and have a feedback session for making improvements in the future training sessions .

#. The expected performance after the training session is to work in a more efficient way than earlier and using the computerized system in their practice .
