Predetermined overhead rate

= Variable rate + (fixed overhead/number of hours)

= $1.00 + ($90000/10000)

= $10 per hour

2. Calculation of job cost

= Material cost + labor cost + overhead

= $600 + $180 + (2*$10)

= $800

3. Amount to be charged

= Total job cost + 30% mark up

= $800 + 30%

= $800 + $240

= $1040
