u(x) = 32 + (9/5)√w
Now w = 1, p =.5
w = 4, p = .5
So EU = .5[32 + 1.8√1] + .5*[32+ 1.8√4]
= .5*33.8 + .5*35.6
= 16.9 + 17.8
= 34.7


So for CE, √CE = EU

CE = EU2
so CE = 34.72
CE = 1204.09

Expected Consumption EC = .5*1 + .5*4 = 2.5

Risk Premium RP = Expected Consumption - CE

= 2.5 - 1204.09

= -1201.59
