It can be mentioned that natural resources are alone not sufficient enough to increase the standard of living because of the fact that one has to know how to use this natural resources and enhance productivity where the techological change and the progress of development in research can get to make the natural resources useful and improve the productivity level as a result of this the country can develop and not just by having natural resources and for example Japan can be considered as one country which is not having abundant natural resources but the technological change and improvement has made one of the richest countries.
