Please explain how the neuroanatomy process as it relates to psychopharmacolgoy. Thank you
when there is a disorder in neuro structure or anatomy like cortex, temporal, parietal, hypothalamus, brain stem, etc psychopharmacology helps to protect the structure of the neuro system. For example brain tumor, brain injury, Parkinson's disease, dementia, epilepsy has neuroanatomy effects due to changes in the brain, spine, and nerves. psychopharmacology medication like lithium, antipsychotic, mood stabilizer, antidepressants make changes and alter the condition. effect of lithium in white matter microstructure correct the disorder, antipsychotic medication on brain structure stabilize the condition and its function. it makes changes in neuroanatomy. it has a neuroprotective character without much neuroanatomical selectivity.
