Dress in an assemblage of modifications of the body and/or supplements to the body.

The main properties of dress are :

-identified and interpreted by the senses

-sight touch smell sound taste

Here in the body modifications, the dress modifications are :

*Permed hair

*Coloured skin

*Pierced Ears

*Scented breath

*and includes garments, jewellery, and accessories

Body supplements act as alterants of body processes serve simultaneously as:

-microphysical environment

-interface between body and the macrophysical environment

#Microenvironment interacts with the body:

-generates either positive feelings of body comfort and well being or negative feelings of irritation

-An interface between the body and the macro environment

*3 ways dress communicates socio-personal information:

1.Identity

2.Mood

3.Knowledge, personal skill and beliefs

Dress affects maintenance, survival, and change of individual human, society, and culture

*Tailored costume Cut & sewn to fit the body closely. It provides greater warmth and can often be worn in cool climates
