1. Regression statistics

From R square we understand the amount of variation in the data explained by the model. In this case 96% of the variation is explained by the model. Hence the model is effective.

Also by looking at the pvalue we can determine if the independent variables are significant perdictors of sales.
If the pvalue is less than 0.05, then the independent variable is significant.
In this case Social Media and Web has pvalue greater than 0.05, hence are insignficant.
Where as print has a pvalue of less than 0.05, hence it is signficant.

2. Regression equation

y = -2602.695 - 9.048 Social Media - 32.0717 Web + 62.43

3. Variation in social media and Web.

If the social media increase by 1 unit the sales decrease by 9.048
If the web increases by 1 unit the sales decrease by 32.07
Both these are counter intitutive as the spends on social media and web increase the sales must increase.
