Abstract: Abstract Go to The aim of the present study was to determine changes in body iron storage in adult dogs following phlebotomy. We performed repeated phlebotomies by removing 1% body weight(approximately 10% of the total blood volume) weekly for a total of 12 times using adult beagle dogs without an iron-restricted diet.
