2) calcium shows the valency +2 and the oxygen shows the 2- and both can combine and forms the calcium oxide and the formula is CaO

3) strontium shows the valency +2 and the chlorine shows the -1 and both can combine and forms the strontium chloride and the formula is SrCl2

4) gallium shows the valency +3 and the oxygen shows the 2- and both can combine and forms the gallium oxide and the formula is Ga2O3
