Answer #1

The next generation of wold class competitors will be coming from developing nations of Americas, Asia and those economies of the Europe who are under the transition mode from socialist form to open economy. It is because of the reason that there are many world class firms and organizations who have yet to come out of their domestic market and enter overseas markets. Once the economy gets open and these companies sense the opportunities in international market as well, then they start competing with the established players in their own backyard.

Besides, the localized innovators who thrive on creativity and innovation, better understand the local market and can compete with the global players. It can happen, as localized players can better understand the customers, can make products to best suit them and local acceptability is also high for these firms. Hence, these localized innovators can also be world class competitors.
