Interval sampling also called systematic sampling where in the whole population first sample is selected randomly and after that in a fixed interval sample are choosen.

This sampling is appropriate where large no. Of data available. In less data random sample is appropriate.

Example: say, a group has 5000 person and need to select 500 person from them, then every 10th person will be choosen to get the 500 people.
