Question 4 - False - common stock is issued to pay of bonds payable but its effect will not shown in the cashflow statement, Beacuse cash flow statement is made to check the cash inflow & outflow but here in this case there is no in & out flow of cash seen. As these stocks are issued not for cash .Hence, this will be not shown in cash flow statement its just transaction where we are setting of bonds payable by issuind stock .

Ques 5 - False - During the preparation of statement of cash flow in indirect method the amortization of patent has to be added to the net income, as it is similar to the depreciation on fixed asset and effect should be given in investing activities.
