It shall be noted that Growth of per-capita income is a measure of standard of living.

It is desirable that output growth should be at the faster pace than the population growth rate. This will ensure incraesing level of resources that could be used to improve the standard of living.

Though, output growth is linked to growth of carbon emission that in turn leads to climate change, the government should still focus on the output growth, with special focus on growth of services and agricultural sector and less-carbon emitting manufacturing sectors.

In order to protect the environment from abrupt climate change due to carbon emission, the government should focus on new technologies and production process that would be facilitated at the back of renewable energy sources.

The government should set-up infrastructure to promote digitization of public & private sector functionings.

With the availability of the scope of carbon-trading, the government can ensure that their contribution to carbon emission in pursuit of higher economic growth does not compel crossing of the world- tolerance level of carbon emission.

Also, it is the higher economic growth that provides it with the higher revenue with which it can help incur government expenditure for different welfare programs including promotion of welfare of people who bear the wrath of climate change. Adoption of new technologies would ensure increased efficiency of the production activities and consumption activities thereby restricting the carbon emission, while ensuring higher economic growth.
