overhead allocation to fabrication is machine hours at $0.25/MHs

overhead allocation to setting up cost is number of batches at $3.41/ batch

product oo uses 2250 MHs and 310 batches

formula for allocation of overhead

(machine hours used * allocation rate of MHs) + (number of batches * overhead rate of batch)

overhead cost for product Oo is

(2250 * 0.25) + (310 * 3.41) = 562.5 + 1057.1

overhead cost for product O0 is $1619.6

product O1 uses 16650 MHs and 1690 batches

thus overhead cost for product O1 is

(16650 * 0.25) + (1690 * 3.14) = 4162.5 + 5306.6

thus overhead cost for product O1 is $9469.1
