Junctional tachycardia is a type of supraventricular tachycardia which involves impulse generation in a focus in the region of the atrioventricular node because of A-V disassociation.

In junctional tachycardia, AV junction's intrinsic rate becomes higher than 100 bpm.

On EKG, inverted P waves and narrow QRS complex is seen.
