Gestational Hypertension is a potentially life threatening disorder that usually develops after the 20th week of pregnancy .

In this case :-

Managing gestational HTN by :-

1. High-protein,

2. low sodium

3. adequate fluid intake

4. Bed rest

5. Antihypertensive (Methyldopa, Hydralazine)

6. Magnesium Sulfate

# High protein diet because of proteinuria that occurs from increased glomerular membrane permeability.

# Magnesium sulfate reduces the ammount of acetylcholine that the motor nerves produce which prevents seizures
