Answer is C because in orthostatic hypotension one should consider about BP rather than pulse. Also, in orthostatic hypotension BP falls when the person is standing because of gravitational pull of blood in legs due to change in pasture. So while standing, less blood goes to heart from inferior section of body due to gravity and hypotension arises.

Hence the nurse should firstly take the BP in lying down patient and then she should take BP in sitting or standing position to avoid hypotension in initial stage of vikalp examination
