Question 15

A nurse assigned to patient are completely responsible for providing care to the patient until the patient is alive or dead toll the discharge and handed over to the relative. In this situation one patient has already deceased,it is the time where emotional support is necessary for a family member .Call I g for a chaplain,pastor to support them spiritually can help a lot than any medical service.

A patient whom is transfused blood needs specific care as it is a life saving procedure, hence it is a must for a nurse to be present with the patient.

A nurse cannot hand over the patient to another nurse or the blood transfusion procedure to another staff without the incharge's decision.The busy duty cannot be said to the relative which can end up in critical situations
