"My Place" is a local pizza and submarine shop operated by a family of eight which serves a varying number of customers throughout the day. Recently two of the family members moved to Benevento. Assuming that eight is the optimal staffing level, how will this undermanning (or "underpersoning") situation affect "My Place" and the people who work there?

If eight people are the optimal staffing level, and now only six people are there to serve the customers, then it will negatively affect the quality of service being delivered to the customers at My Place. The second impact will be the increase in delivery time of the service to the customers. The third impact will be increased in waiting time or time spend by people in the line to get the service. So, efficiency will decrease and lead time of service delivery will increase.
People working there, will also get
overburdened with more work to be done and for the extended period
of time. It will negatively affect their morale and motivation to
