11) The correct option is - D Methicillin resistant staphylococcus aureus. Vancomycin belongs to glycopeptide class of antibiotics. It is the choice of drug for Methicillin resistant staphylococcus aureus and also for many gram positive bacteria. It is ineffective against pseudomonas, gram negative bacteria(e.g Klebisiella sps.) and fungal species(Candida sps.) so options A, B and C are incorrect.

12)The correct option is - A Stop the infusion. The first step to be taken when a patient complains any allergic reactions during an infusion is to stop the infusion as this will prevent the further entry of the drug into the patient. Calling the patient's provider is required but it is not the first step as it takes time and the patient's condition can get worse meanwhile. Elevating the bed and auscultating the breath sounds should be done right after stopping the infusion.

13)The correct option is - A. Amoxicillin-clavulanate. As amoxicillin belongs to penicillin like antibiotics class of drugs. B- gentamycin belongs to aminoglycosides, so it is safe in this child, C - erythromycin belongs to macrolide class of antibiotics and amphotericin B is antifungal which are safe in this patient.

14)The correct option is - D Azithromycin on long term use can cause QT Prolongation and one should always monitor for it. Diarrhea is a common side effect caused by azithromycin but it is not a complication, ototoxicity is caused by aminoglycosides like amikacin, gentamycin etc. Tendon rupture is caused by fluoroquinolones like ofloxacin, levofloxacin etc.So options A,B,C are incorrect.
