r =radius of the dispersed prticle

Rho 1=density of particles

Rho2= density of medium

g=gravitational constant

sedimentation volume,F=Vu/Vo

Vu=ultimate height of sediment

Vo=inital height of total suspension

2.The suspension can be prepared extemporaneously by using mortar and pestle

weigh all the ingredients for preparation separately.After weighing the coarse particles can be grinded using mortar and pestle into fine particles .use the suspending agent or thickening agent which increase viscosity inorder to make suspension .use the wetting agent inorder to wet the mixture.mix all the ingredients in the mortar and pestle and add the suspending solution slowly.transfer to the container and shake well before use.
