1.Effective communication is very important to prepare the patient for blood collection. Prepare patient both physically and mentally. Educate them about the complete procedures and make them understand that the process is respectfull to the patient and will improve integrity of sample. Use simple vocabulary and not complex medical terms while answering patients quiries. Ignorance may put patient at risk.

2.The phlebotomist is responsible for identifying correct patient by using two unique patient identifiers that include, patients complete first and last name, medical record or inpatient number. The patient location or room number is not a reliable form of identification.

In this case inform to the incharge of the ward and countercheck with two identifierd, then only the healthcare worker can confirm the wright patient.

3.Median cubital vein is the most commnly used site for venipuncture. When physician is drawung blood help him in doing procedure. Stop the iv fluid till the procedure ends.

4 No we cannot use that label. Tge label should be used immediately after bloid draw before going from. Patient side.
