Personal factors: Personal characteristics that influence choices, such as taste preference, knowledge, hunger level, income, and special diet requirements. In this activity, participants will explore influences on food choices.

Eg.

  • Keeping fruits at home while hungry
  • See what you are spending money on now. Get an old grocery receipt and highlight all of the convenience foods, doubles of foods you already have, and food you could do without. Add it up and see how much you spent.
