Stroke is a serious medical condition in which the brain cells become damaged due to disturbance in the blood flow towards them. There are mainly three types of stroke. Ischemic stroke, hemorrhagic stroke, and transient ischemic attack.

2. Ischemic stroke is the brain cell damage and ischemia due to obstruction of arteries in brain as a result of plaque formation or fatty deposits inside the blood vessels.

Hemorrhagic stroke is due to the obstruction of blood flow to the brain tissue due to rupture or leakage of arteries which supply brain and is leading to ischemia.
