1. What is the likely diagnosis for Mr. Smith? 

2. Why did the physician order both a urinalysis and a blood glucose test? 

3. Why might Mr. Smith's vital signs show that his tempor is slightly elevated? 

4. Based on the laboratory test results, the physician prescribed an antibiotic for Mr. Smith. What can you advise Mr. Smith to do in addition to taking the antibiotic as prescribed?

1. Most probably Mr. Peter is suffering from urinary tract infection. In the effort of bodys mechanism of flushing excess amount of sugar through urine, the urinary tract gets more susceptible for infection.

2. Physician orders a urine analysis to know the severity of Diabetes Mellitus by measuring glucose, ketone,microalbumin and presence and type of pathogens which caused UTI. Blood glucose test is ordered by physcian to know present glucose level in blood.  

3. Elevated temperature of the body is one of the main sign of Urinary Tract Infection showing that microbes reached the kidneys..

4.The physician may advise Inj/Oral Paracetamol according to fever, Intravenous fluids or plenty of oral fluids  in effort to flushing out from the system and adequate bed rest.
