Accreditation means process of officially recognition.

To become any programe accredited ,program should have particular standards or being qualified to perform a particular activity. Program are accredited by organizations. These organizations are formed by professionals in the decipline that want to ensure quality education.

Example : Nursing programs may be accredited by TheAmerican association of colleges of nursing or by the Accreditation commission for Nursing Education.

Needs for program accreditation:

A .To get accredited program should have mission and integrity.

B.Program should need continues monitoring.

C.Resources to meet their goals. ex: Must have teaching faculty to school or college program accreditation.

D.Support from students and staff : Colleges must offer guidance to students for professional development.

E.Continues Assessment and evaluation . : Continues assessment of protocol help to improve standards.

Accreditation will loses if not maintaining standards.

CHES : The Certified Health Education Specialist Examination.

MCHES:The Master Certified Health Education Specialist Examination.

These two Examination are used to assess the extent to which a candidates can possess,apply and interpret knowledge related to seven Areas of Responsibility of Health education specialists.

Eligibility criteria for CHES and MCHES Certifation :

a. Met required academic preparation qualifications. b.Successful passed a competency based Exam Administered by the National Commission For Health Education Credentialing. c. Satisfies the continuing education requirement to maintain the national Credential.
