How important is it for a medical practitioner, i.e., nurse or doctor, to maintain licensure, certification, etc. and why?

The licensure for a medical practioner means the state or condition of having a license granted by official or legal authority to perform medical acts and procedures ,not permitted by persons without such a license applicant must have registered nurse licensure also that granting licenses a state board of medical licensure. It is because it is th important to a health practioner to maintain a licensure because it is the procedure that allows the patient to confidently place their trust in their chosen health health care providers.

The goal of licensure is to ensure that the licensees have the minimal degree of competency nessecary to ensure that the public health,safety, and or welfare are protected .

To get a licenses one has to meet the the eligibility requirements and have to pass an assessment that cover the range of individuals the k knowledge and skill.

In most of the cases the licenses will granted at the state level, if the individual works in multiple jurisdiction they must be licensed in each jurisdiction.

Profesional associations do not grant licensure,play a role in licensure activities such as advocating and collaborating with agencies responsible for development and administration of licensing.

The goal of certification ie the individual has to met a predetermined and standardized criteria. and should meet eligibility requirements and pass an assessment.

Certification is voluntary and the individual does not need to be certified in order to engage in occupation.

The certification assessmentshould cover the individuals broad area of knowledge and skills from the base level to advanced level.

Certificate holder usually have ongoing requirements,such as continuing education or retesting to maintain certification.

A certificate program should not be confused with certification.

In conclude the medical practioners such as nurses and doctors need licensure and certfication to maintain the standard of health care that should deliver to the society ,and regular upgradation of their knowledge from base to advanced level produce effective outcomes.
