B) Sterile - it has not come in directly contact with fluid ,body parts etc.

C) contaminated-She has crossed the dressing over the sterile area which makes it unsterile.

D)Sterile-talking over sterile area turn into contaminated so avoiding talking , maintain sterilization.

E) sterile-. Maintaining sterilization throughout the procedure

3) Autoclave is the most widely used method for sterilization .Use to sterilize non disposable material, surgical instruments,gown and culture media .

It can use in three different ranges

  1. 121°C temperature for 15min in 15lbs/inch2
  2. 126°C yemperature for 10min in 20lbs/inch2
  3. 133°C temperature for 3min in 30lbs /inch2

  1. Time , temperature and pressure are the key factors that ensure the proper sterilization.
  2. Different equipments require different Temperature,time and pressure .
  3. Steam is the autoclaving sterilization agents which helps to destroy spores also
  4. The level of non condensable gases should be maintained as it maintains 97% during whole sterilization process.
  5. The moisture level also need to maintain during whole process
  6. Some indicators are used to ensure the sterilization such tape indicator and biological indicator.
