Do you agree and why?

On the basis of a consumer having the potential for reliable hand use, I don't think we should use evaluation selection methods that are manipulated only by hands use because clinicians need to take into consideration of the person as a whole going back till client centered practices we need to evaluate the clients over all performance skill which and compasses multiple capabilities, such as body function and body structures just focusing on of the body structure the hand would be disservice to the patient.

I agree with this. Evaluation selection methods should be designed in such a way that potential for reliable hand use should be considered as a major criteria. But, studies show that any organ of the body, be it internal or external, functions along with all other organs of the body, making it a complete organism. The function of hands can be altered by the functioning of other organs of the body. For example, a person with cardiac disease, will not be able to use his hands for a long time and will face fatigue easily rendering his hand use deficient. Or a person with Cerebral degenerative disease will present with tremors in his hands due to which effective hand use is greatly decreased.

Hence, evaluating the clients overall performance and skill which encompasses mulitple capabilities such as body function or body structure will be a fair service to the patient and will give a better understanding of potential for reliable hand use.
