1 Litre of 0.225% of Nacl contains 2250 milligrams.

Below is the step to justify above statement :

Mostly we would see the physicians order for administering of  fluids as 0.9% of Sodium Chloride in 500ml or 1000ml of Normal saline.

That means in 1000ml there is 0.9% of Sodium Chloride.Then in 100 ml , How much percentage of Sodium Chloride is present ? (As 1000 ml has 10 number of 100 mls),

  So 0.9 × 10 = 9 gms. Of Nacl present In 1000 ml.

In the same context, 0.225 % in 1000ml is

0.225x10 = 2.25 gms

1 gm = 1000 milligrams

So, 2.25 gms is 2.25 × 1000 is 2250 milligrams.
