ANSWER.

* Pseudocyesis or false pregnancy is the presence of

signs and symptoms of pregnancy in a person who

is not pregnant.

It is mainly due to alterations in normal functioning

of the endocrine system which leads to secretion of

hormones( prolactin,estrogen etc ) responsible for

physiological changes during pregnancy in a non -

pregnant person.
