Answer 1: Preferred provider organisation: It is a kind of health plan organization which consists of physicians, healthcare providers, hospital to provide care who have contract or agreed to the insurer. They create a network of providers as patient pays less amount of he uses particular providers of plan's network. It is a managed care organisations of healthcare professionals, physician and hospital.

2. Point of service plans: Point of service plans is as like HMO and PPO as like an HMO clients are registered an in network healthcare professionals i.e. physician to be a primary care provider but as like PPO patient can go outside the bond of network providers to get the treatment. It is a managed care plan and combination of HMO and PPO. Although it has much benefits but this POS holds relatively very low market shares.

3. HMOS : It is a managed healthcare plan, which provides healthcare to the patient. This plan covers monthly or annual fee. In this plan patients have right to choose their primary healthcare physician. The physician takes care and manage the health of the patient.
