Answer: Medication safety is necessary in the pediatrics patient as the medication has high impact on the children. In one of the survey it has been found that 64% of the pediatrics population are victims of Medical error out of which some results were fatal.

So, to maintain the safety and prevent any kind of medical error, the healthcare professionals should be more conscious while treating a child. Because due to medical error or any other kind of negligence can cause life time harm to the pediatrics patient and hence it may impact on life as well as on the mind of the particular child.

By minimising errors and negligence we can easily safe guard pediatrics patient. Choosing more effective drug with minimum side effects also contributes in the better care of the pediatrics. This group of population need much care and concern as like the elderly patients.
